Dean of the College of Agriculture/Hawija participates in an international conference in the Syrian Arab Republic and calls for strengthening agricultural cooperation between Iraq and Syria

Professor Dr. Khaled Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the College, participated in the third international conference on “Priority of Agriculture in the Next Phase,” which was held at Tishreen University in Syria. Professor Dr. Khaled Khalil Ahmed presented an intervention in which he addressed the importance of developing the agricultural sector in the coming period, and highlighted the most prominent challenges it faces. And ways to enhance it to achieve sustainability and meet the needs of society. During the conference, experiences and ideas were exchanged between participants from various countries, with the aim of enhancing international cooperation in the field of agriculture and achieving sustainable development.

For his part, he also emphasized that this conference would strengthen academic relations and cooperation between our universities, and would contribute to achieving our common goals towards developing the agricultural sector and raising the standard of living of our communities.
