The College of Agriculture/Al-Hawija participates in the Field Day celebration in Kirkuk Governorate

In the presence of its dean, Professor Dr. Khaled Khalil Ahmed, the College of Agriculture/Al-Hawija participated in the Field Day celebration focusing on modern rainfed irrigation applications and protected agriculture activities. The event was organized by the Kirkuk Purification and Seed Classification Company in collaboration with the Janan Agricultural Investment Company from the United Arab Emirates.

During his tour in the field, Professor Dr. Khaled Khalil Ahmed, the dean of the college, emphasized that modern rainfed irrigation systems reduce water usage by approximately 28% to 42% compared to other modern irrigation systems. He also highlighted their significant role in increasing productivity and reducing the use of production inputs.
