The College of Agriculture in Al-Hawija, University of Kirkuk, organized a lecture titled "Poultry Farming and Its Impact on Food Security," with the participation of the dean, faculty members, and students of the college.

The lecture, delivered by Ms. Rassl Jamal Mohammed, highlighted the organic benefits of poultry farming. It emphasized how poultry farming helps maintain environmental cleanliness by spreading poultry waste across vast pasturelands, preventing its accumulation within poultry houses, and preserving soil and water sources by reducing contamination with nitrates, pathogens, heavy metals, antibiotics, and insecticides. Additionally, poultry farming requires minimal capital investment.
