The College of Agriculture/Hawija at Kirkuk University organized a scientific symposium entitled “Overfishing in Iraq and its impact on the environmental balance,” with the participation of the dean, employees and students of the college.

The symposium included a lecture in which Mr. Dhafer Dahham Al-Raisi explained the dangers that the phenomenon of poaching poses to birds, animals and aquatic organisms and its repercussions on the environment. He focused on the necessity of establishing strict laws in countries where poaching is witnessed, especially in some African countries where there are no laws. To protect environmental life.
