The Hawija College of Agriculture responds to the Earth Call initiative, which took place under the guidance of the Minister of Agriculture, Engineer Abbas Jabr Al-Ali Al-Maliki, who visited the Hawija College of Agriculture, the Director General of Planning and Follow-up in the Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Yasser Hassan Saleh. During the visit, the most important issues were discussed, the most important of which is cooperation between the Hawija College of Agriculture and the Ministry. Agriculture in the field of research and implementation of community activities, the first of which was planting the first seedlings in Iraq for the Earth Call initiative, which was planted in the gardens of the Hawija College of Agriculture.
This initiative aims to pay attention to the environment in Iraq and provide education to increase green spaces in Iraq.
The Dean thanked the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture to the college, wishing for the development of relations and cooperation, as graduates of the college will in the future be in direct contact with the ministry and will be builders of the future of agriculture in Iraq.
