Postgraduate Studies Division

It is one of the important divisions that is linked to the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies according to the organizational structure of the college and includes the following departments (Physics, Biological Sciences). This division carries out many responsibilities and tasks, the most important of which is organizing the files of graduate students for the Physics and Biological Sciences departments and following up on their academic progress starting from their acceptance. They will continue their studies until the university order is issued for their graduation.

Administrative tasks performed by postgraduate staff Studies Division

1- Preparing and unifying the admission plan for postgraduate studies annually.

2- Supervising academic leave applications annually and reviewing them for the purpose of approval by the Ministry.

3- Receiving and reviewing the files of applicants for postgraduate studies.

4- Preparing the examination halls for the competitive examination for the departments of Physics and Biological Sciences and receiving and auditing the final grades from the examination committee.

5- Issuing administrative orders for admission after the university’s order is issued.

6- Issuing an administrative order to resume students’ attendance in their departments immediately.

7-Sending a valid issuance document and study leave to the applicant.

8-Issuing an administrative order to register students’ graduation research projects.

9- Sending all requirements for obtaining a master’s degree to the Department of Graduate Studies headed by the university to issue a university order to obtain the degree.

10- Issuing administrative orders to extend students who have not completed their studies within the specified period.

11- Issuing administrative orders to raise the level of registration of students who have failed or who have not completed the required documents.

12- All administrative orders issued above are not issued except after the approval of the College Council, then the university order is issued, then the administrative order is issued.
