About The College The College of Education for Pure Sciences
The College of Education for Pure Sciences was established on 12th of Agu 2012. Admission to the college is subject to the central admission plan for colleges of education in Iraqi universities, and it works to implement the slogan (universities in the service of society) through its openness to educational and industrial institutions. The period of study in the college is four years, and it follows the semester system of teaching. The college grants a bachelor’s degree in the main specializations in it according to the scientific departments.
The College Council
The College Council composed of the scientific and administrative assistants and heads of scientific departments in the college.
The council is chaired by the dean of the college, and the scientific and administrative assistants and heads of the college departments, which consist of four departments, participate in its membership. The council holds its sessions periodically to study various administrative and scientific matters and take appropriate decisions and procedures regarding them within the applicable laws and instructions. Vision
The college works to advance educational and scientific knowledge to serve society, and the college aspires to become the best colleges of education for pure sciences in Iraq and the Arab world by graduating creative teachers who are future leaders and a source of creative educational and scientific ideas that contribute to the development of high scientific and educational capabilities in society. This vision is based on the realization that the role of the teacher has changed from that of a conveyor and indoctrator to a facilitator of learning, a manager of the educational process and a planner, and one who works to develop creativity, self-learning, and teamwork, as well as considering a quality and distinguished teacher as the basis for the success of the College of Education and the achievement of its tasks, taking into account that the College of Education for Pure Sciences has A societal, cultural and practical role that is greater than just the number of teachers.
