The Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College of Medicine organizes a workshop

On Monday 10/30/2023, the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit organized an introductory workshop on its work mechanism, in cooperation with the Continuing Medical Education Division at the college.The workshop focused on several axes, including the vision of the Employment, Qualification and Follow-up Unit, its mission and objectives, the main tasks of this unit, and the importance of the services that this unit provides to the parties involved in its activities. The lecture was delivered by the unit head, Assistant Lecturer Zhian Fateh Abdullah, and Mrs. Parvin Nawzad Hasib, in the presence of a group of teachers and college employees.

Several issues were discussed in which the main objective of this workshop was explained, which is to provide job opportunities for graduates through qualifying, training, educating and raising awareness, raising the level of their skills as required by the labor market, and educating and introducing students and graduates to the unit’s work tasks. Finally, Several recommendations were concluded, the most important of which are conducting courses, workshops, and seminars in cooperation with the continuing education unit in the college, conducting scientific visits for students, especially final stage students, cooperating with unions for specializations in providing training and courses for students and graduates in the college, and creating a special questionnaire to collect data of the graduates, such as information about the year of graduation and address that help to communicate with them.
