Internal Medicine Branch

This Branch is responsible for teaching and training students in advanced stages on clinical diagnosis of diseases and how to deal with patients.

The Branch goals:

  1. Training the student to be able to take a medical history and examine patients in general by examining the various body systems (cardiovascular system, respiratory system, digestive system, and nervous system).
  2. Learning the student to be able to search in medical journals for a medical case he saw during scientific training and discuss this case through practical session and seminars.
  3. To help the student to attend the emergency teaching hospital and identifying medical cases there.
  4. To help student to see medical cases in the internal medicine wards, as well as the endoscopy and echo unit, and the psychiatry, Rheumatology, and dermatology units.
  5. Develop a plan to treat medical cases and how to conduct medical examinations.
