The new academic year for graduate students (Master’s) at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology began in an atmosphere of scholarly rigor and administrative organization that reflects the college’s dedication to supporting the academic journey of postgraduate studies.
The Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Chalak Shakir, met with the students. He opened the meeting with a welcoming address, expressing his pride in this cohort for joining the college’s programs and commending their determination and pursuit of excellence and robust scientific research.
Dr. Shakir also emphasized the importance of adhering to university regulations, which define the identity of a university student, as well as the necessity of respecting academic customs and traditions that enhance a student’s standing within the university campus. During the meeting, he listened to the students’ feedback on the challenges they face in their academic careers. He affirmed the college administration’s commitment to overcoming obstacles and providing necessary support to ensure a conducive learning environment.
To conclude the meeting, he wished them a successful academic year, affirming that the college will support them throughout their scientific journey.
