the Vision
Based on the vision of the University of Kirkuk, the Scientific Division adopted a vision to achieve the university’s goals of ensuring and paying attention to solid scientific research that matches international research, contributes to entering international classifications, meets the needs of society and the needs of the state sectors and the private sector, and encourages various scientific activities to follow the movement of scientific research and publishing, develop the skills of researchers, and many more. The Scientific Division aspires to be a forum for the university’s intellectual productions and to provide them with scientific plans and programs through coordination with all departments, and to be a basic pillar in exploring areas of cognitive development, keeping pace with them, and facilitating the teaching task for the purpose of developing his performance in a planned and deliberate manner. It aims to provide a research environment that supports distinguished scientific production, and to enrich and disseminate knowledge by developing the capabilities of teaching staff in the fields to match the scientific development taking place in countries of the world.

Objectives:
1. Strengthening and consolidating the results of scientific research at the university, disseminating its ethics, and seeking to provide its material and moral requirements.
2- Encouraging and motivating teaching and research staff to raise the level of research work.
3- Strengthening scientific communication, fostering distinguished relations with universities, research centers, various state institutions, and scientific and cultural societies, and developing cooperation with them.
4- Developing teaching staff by adopting constructive training programs for prestigious international universities and urging professors to devote their academic time in such universities to complete scientific research at a high level and transfer modern technology to our universities.
5- Exploring the areas of scientific and cognitive development, keeping pace with them, and developing the cognitive and research capabilities of teaching staff.

6- Developing the creative scientific activity in the college and documenting data in a unified manner for all the college’s scientific activities, including courses, cinemas, workshops, and seminars, and following up and disseminating their results to ensure achieving the maximum possible benefit.
7- Sponsoring, encouraging and following up on the college’s distinguished intellectual output, including writings, studies and other distinguished scientific products.
