In conjunction with the Iraqi Prime Minister's initiative, the President of Kirkuk University inaugurated an agricultural festival to mark National Tree Planting Day.

The President of Kirkuk University, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, inaugurated an agricultural festival to mark National Tree Planting Day, in the presence of the Director of Kirkuk Municipalities, Engineer Aram Ali Mohammed, and a large gathering of staff and students.

The University President stated that the Iraqi Prime Minister's initiative to plant five million trees and palms reflects a commitment to environmental protection and conservation, and encourages the cultivation of trees and plants in Iraq. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness among university students about contributing to environmental improvement and preservation, supporting the environmental situation, and the necessity of eliminating all types of environmental pollutants.
