Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, President of Kirkuk University, the Department of Dormitory Affairs launched a volunteer campaign under the slogan "Our Impact is Green" to increase green spaces in the female student dormitories. This initiative was carried out in coordination with the Kirkuk Green Volunteer Team, the Kirkuk Municipality Directorate, and with the participation of department staff.The campaign included clearing weeds and preparing sites for planting seedlings, with the aim of improving the residential environment.Ms. Iman Abdul Wahid Majeed, Director of the Department of Dormitory Affairs at Kirkuk University, explained that the campaign aims to promote volunteer work and improve the environmental conditions within the dormitories. She emphasized that it will continue as part of a plan to expand green spaces.
