The College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes a Guidance Seminar on "How to Deal with Examination Stress"
The College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a guidance seminar titled "How to Deal with Examination Stress," hosted by the University Psychological Counseling Division, with the aim of educating students about the nature of the stress that accompanies the examination period and ways to deal with it positively.
The seminar included shedding light on the concept of examination stress and its psychological and academic impacts on students. It also provided a set of guidelines and strategies to help them manage it effectively, contributing to improving their academic performance and enhancing their ability to concentrate and prepare well for exams.
At the conclusion of the seminar, it was emphasized that examination stress is a common phenomenon among students, but it does not necessarily represent a negative matter if handled correctly. Good time management, early preparation for studying, and maintaining a balance between studying and rest are among the important factors that contribute to reducing anxiety and improving performance levels.
The seminar also pointed out the importance of psychological support and encouragement from family and faculty in boosting students' self-confidence, stressing that exams are a means to evaluate knowledge and skills, not a source of fear, and that dealing with them positively paves the way for success and excellence.
