A Faculty Member from the College of Education for Pure Sciences Participates in a Doctoral Dissertation Defense Committee at Tikrit University
Prof. Dr. Dhia Sarhan Khalaf participated in the defense of a doctoral dissertation titled:
(Educational Implications in the Stories of the Prophets in Contemporary Literature: Al-Mi'in Surahs - A Comparative Study) at the University of Anbar / College of Education for Humanities.
The dissertation, presented by researcher (Fatima Adnan Najm Abdullah Al-Fahdawi), aimed to study the stories of the prophets mentioned in the Al-Mi'in Surahs, extract their educational implications, and link them to the problems facing the Islamic world while proposing solutions, by referring to contemporary literature that dealt with the narrative aspect of the Holy Quran.
The study also recommended the necessity of intensifying research concerned with the narrative aspect of the Holy Quran, and shedding light on contemporary literature to benefit from it in addressing contemporary problems in the doctrinal, behavioral, or moral aspects.
