College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes an Afforestation Campaign for Several Schools in Kirkuk Governorate

In line with its social and environmental role, the Diwan Division and the Agricultural Unit, in cooperation with the Student Activities Division and the Voluntary Work Unit at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, organized an afforestation campaign targeting several schools in Kirkuk Governorate. The initiative involved the participation of a group of the college's faculty, staff, and students, in collaboration with the administrations of the participating schools.

This initiative aims to enhance environmental awareness, disseminate a culture of interest in green spaces, and contribute to improving the school environment. This is achieved by planting trees and vegetation that aid in air purification and add an aesthetic dimension to school buildings and courtyards.
