Scientific Awareness Seminar on Breast Cancer – Pink October

As part of the activities organized by the Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Division, the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Kirkuk held an awareness and guidance seminar on breast cancer under the title “Pink October.”
The seminar was delivered by
• Assistant Lecturer Delbak Shakur Saleh
• Lecturer Raja Musa Ismail
• Assistant Lecturer Hana Atiyah Salman
with active participation from faculty members and students of the college.
The workshop included an introduction to breast cancer, its signs and symptoms, and a detailed explanation of breast self-examination—its definition and correct application.
The main objective of the seminar was to raise awareness among women about the importance of breast self-examination, promote proper techniques for conducting it, and encourage attendees to actively spread awareness within the community.
