The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Raji Ayed, received today in his office Dr. Iyad Al-Dahoudi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, accompanied by Dr. Khalid Qader, Advisor to the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, during a visit to the college, in the presence of the Head of the Biology Department, Assistant Prof. Dr. Qais Assi Ahmed.

During the meeting, horizons of joint cooperation between academic institutions and government/legislative bodies were discussed, along with ways to enhance communication to support the scientific journey and develop institutional performance. They also discussed several issues related to qualifying students and developing scientific and research capabilities to keep pace with labor market requirements.

The Dean of the College emphasized the importance of building bridges of cooperation with various state institutions, noting its role in exchanging expertise and opening new horizons for students and researchers, praising the role of the General Secretariat of the Council of Representatives and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in supporting institutional work and serving the community.

For his part, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception, praising the scientific and academic efforts exerted by the college in preparing scientific competencies. Meanwhile, the Advisor to the Minister of Labor stressed the importance of strengthening partnership with educational institutions to support youth energies and align educational outcomes with labor market needs.

At the conclusion of the visit, the importance of continuous cooperation and coordination between the two sides was emphasized to serve the public interest and contribute to supporting the educational and developmental path.
