The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Raji Ayed, attended the first in-person meeting of 2026 for the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences at Iraqi universities, which was held at the University of Maysan with the participation of a number of deans of corresponding colleges from various academic institutions.

The meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of important axes aimed at developing the educational process and elevating the academic level. Most notably, these included updating academic curricula, enhancing the quality of educational programs, and expanding scientific specializations in line with labor market requirements. Attendees also discussed ways to enhance scientific cooperation between colleges and exchange academic expertise, contributing to improving higher education outcomes and supporting the educational process.

This meeting comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to develop colleges of education for pure sciences and unify academic visions to serve the achievement of scientific and educational development goals.
