English Kirkuk University Council Holds its Ninth Session and Sets the Date for Final Exams
Chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, the Kirkuk University Council held its ninth session today, Thursday, 16/4/2026, and decided on the starting dates for the exams in the colleges of Kirkuk University:
1- The final exam in the colleges that follow the (annual system) and the final exams for the second semester in the colleges that follow the (semester and courses system and the Bologna process) will begin on 10/5/2026, for all stages except the (first stage).
2- The second semester exams for postgraduate students will begin on 11/5/2026.
3- College councils are authorized to determine the starting date for the first-stage exams, taking into account the Eid al-Adha holiday and the start of the preparatory school exams.
On the sidelines of the session, the University President directed all university colleges to secure all necessary requirements to provide an appropriate examination atmosphere for students in accordance with the applicable regulations and instructions.
