Assistant Professor Dr. Haza Sattar Majid participated as a member of a Master's thesis defense committee at Tikrit University for the researcher "Ahmed Thaer Hamid".

This research is considered an applied scientific contribution in the field of contaminated water treatment using advanced photocatalysis technology. The study aims to design and manufacture a binary hybrid nanocomposite (MnO₂/K₂FeO₄) with enhanced optical and electrochemical properties, and to evaluate its catalytic efficiency in the degradation of the typical Methylene Blue (MB) dye under visible light irradiation.

The study concludes that the prepared compound represents a promising photocatalyst, with high efficiency and good stability, capable of making optimal use of the visible light spectrum. This opens horizons for its applications in the sustainable environmental treatment of water contaminated with organic dye residues using solar energy.
