Accounts Section

An Overview :    This section was established in 2000. Formerly, it was linked to Mosul University Accounts. In the year 2003, it belonged to Kirkuk University after its establishment. In April, 2005, it became an independent section, as duties were divided among its clerks regarding payment, recording, accountancy files, and arrangement of files and salaries.

Main Duties

Accounts section in the college is divided in two sections:

A) Current accounts section which is financially aided by the University Presidency. It performs the following duties:

*Persisting in preparing revisions balance with all supplementaries regarding statements of accounts and a disc (CD) of data.

*Comparing monetary funds at the bank with college records.

*Arrangement of salary files and preparing special lists with (Q: - Card).

* Arrangement of Ministerial contracts salaries.

*Preparing the final accounts by the end of the fiscal year.

*Sustaining organization of stable assets files (accounting 13) and the obtained gifts, and those delivered to other institutions, and preparing the special systematized registerings during the period of preparing the final accounts.

*Organizing the file of documents monitoring (accounting 16) and controlling it.

B) Higher Education Accounts Safe Unit   

   Its duties are earlier mentioned in the current account unit, it is self – financed as it depends on the revenues obtained from evening studies and from students' participation in maintenance, college revenues and copying, etc. continuing education revenues like the courses held inside and outside college, added to that are the private payment revenues for undergraduate and higher studies and the parallel education.
