Awareness Seminar on the Occasion of Pink October Regarding Breast Cancer and Methods of Prevention

The College of Dentistry at the University of Kirkuk, through the Women’s Affairs Unit, organized an awareness seminar on the occasion of Pink October entitled “Breast Cancer and Methods of Prevention,” with the attendance of the Dean and college staff.

The seminar addressed the importance of early detection of breast cancer and its significant role in increasing recovery rates among women. It also reviewed recent medical statistics indicating higher survival rates among patients who underwent screening during the early stages of the disease.

The seminar aimed to promote health awareness regarding preventive measures and early detection, as well as to strengthen a culture of women’s health through regular medical examinations and continuous health education.
