Library Mission

The mission of the College of Basic Education Library is to provide high-quality information services and support the educational and research activities of students and faculty members. This is achieved by organizing and acquiring diverse and reliable knowledge resources, both paper and electronic, and presenting them within an appropriate scientific environment that addresses the academic needs of the various disciplines offered at the college.

The library also seeks to foster a research culture among students and researchers, develop their skills in using search and retrieval tools, and encourage academic reading and self-education. The library is committed to facilitating access to knowledge and utilizing technical and professional capabilities to serve users efficiently, while preserving academic values such as academic integrity, discipline, and equality in service provision.

The library believes that its responsibility is not limited to meeting immediate information needs, but extends to contributing to building a generation capable of engaging with knowledge consciously and independently, and producing new knowledge that enriches society and contributes to its progress.
