College of Basic Education – University of Kirkuk 
The College of Basic Education / University of Kirkuk is pleased to announce the establishment of the Department of Art Education, starting from the academic year (2025–2026), as part of its efforts to expand its academic programs and meet the needs of the educational and artistic fields in Iraq.
Admission to the department will be direct at a rate of (50%). Eligible applicants include graduates of the following tracks: Literary, Scientific, Biological, Applied, Fine Arts, Institute of Crafts and Folk Arts, Police Commissioners Preparation Institute, (Teachers’ Preparation / Art Education – Applied Arts), Interior Decoration – Applied Arts / General, Institute of Fine Arts / Art Education, and Institute of Fine Arts / Design. Direct admission is in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The college invites interested students to apply directly by visiting the Registration Division of the college, bringing with them the required official documents no later than Thursday, September 25, 2025.
