
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, the Continuing Education Division organized a scientific seminar entitled “Exploring the Relationship Between Symbolism and Identity,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Imad Khalaf Ramadan.
The seminar aims to shed light on the role of symbols in shaping both individual and collective identity, as well as to explore the cultural and intellectual dimensions that connect symbolism with the concept of identity across various humanistic and literary fields. It also seeks to open avenues for scholarly dialogue and the exchange of ideas among researchers and academics regarding the impact of symbols on meaning-making and the reinforcement of cultural belonging.
