Under the patronage of University of Kirkuk President Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, the Continuing Education Unit organized a scientific seminar entitled “The Role of the Family in Raising Children,” delivered by Dr. Salem Obaid Abdullah.
The seminar addressed the importance of the family as the fundamental cornerstone in shaping children’s personalities and fostering their moral and behavioral values. It also highlighted sound educational approaches and examined the impact of the family environment in nurturing a conscious and responsible generation capable of confronting contemporary challenges.
The seminar witnessed distinguished attendance and constructive engagement from the participants. Attendees were given the opportunity to raise questions and contribute interventions that enriched the discussion and contributed to achieving the objectives of the seminar.
