College of Basic Education – University of Kirkuk 
Under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, the College of Basic Education held a welcoming festival on Tuesday, 16/12/2025, to welcome first-year students for the academic year 2025-2026. This event is part of the college's commitment to creating a supportive and stimulating university environment that contributes to the integration of new students into academic life.
The festival included introductory segments about the college and its scientific departments, in addition to welcoming speeches that emphasized the importance of this stage in the students' academic journey and the necessity of adhering to university values and academic regulations to achieve success and excellence.
The festival also included cultural and awareness activities aimed at introducing students to the services provided by the college, their rights and duties, as well as encouraging them to actively participate in scientific and cultural activities.
At the conclusion of the festival, the college administration and faculty expressed their wishes for the first-year students to have a fruitful and successful academic year, affirming their continuous support for their academic journey.
