Expanded Meeting to Discuss the Mechanism of Direct Admission in the Departments of the College of Basic Education

The College of Basic Education held an expanded meeting chaired by the Director of Registration at the University Presidency, with the attendance of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, the heads of scientific departments and their coordinators, and the College’s Registration Director, to discuss the mechanism of direct admission to the Departments of History, Kindergarten, and Art Education for the academic year (2025–2026).

The attendees reviewed the ministerial instructions regarding direct admission and the practical implementation mechanisms. They also discussed the administrative and technical aspects necessary to facilitate the registration of new students, with a focus on unifying procedures across departments and adhering to the official regulations issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of establishing a clear plan to organize the student reception process and to distribute tasks among the relevant departments and divisions, ensuring the speedy completion of procedures and accuracy of work. Consideration was also given to providing the necessary logistical and technical support for registration staff and addressing any obstacles students might face during the application process.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants confirmed the college’s commitment to accommodate the largest possible number of students within the available capacities, in line with labor market needs, and to contribute to the college’s mission of preparing qualified personnel in the fields of History, Kindergarten, and Art Education. They also stressed the necessity of joint cooperation between the University Presidency, the college, and the departments to achieve the highest levels of organization and success in the direct admission process.
