A Voluntary Initiative to Support Thalassemia Patients in Kirkuk

Under the patronage of the respected President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and with direct supervision from the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Prof. Asst. Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, the Voluntary Work Committee at the college organized a humanitarian initiative to support children suffering from thalassemia. This initiative is part of the university’s efforts to enhance its role in serving the community and assisting patients.

The initiative was coordinated with the Voluntary Work Committee at the University Presidency and involved the participation of several faculty members and students. The College of Basic Education actively contributed to this humanitarian activity by providing financial donations to help supply medical and therapeutic essentials for patients suffering from this chronic disease.

At the conclusion of the initiative, the University Presidency and the College of Education’s administration expressed their gratitude and appreciation to all participants and contributors for making this humanitarian effort a success, praying for the speedy recovery of all patients.
