Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Nashwan Omar Rashid, the Pharmaceuticals and Toxicology Branch at the College of Pharmacy, through the Division of Continuing Education, held an educational course entitled (How to Handle and Dosage Drugs for Laboratory Mice) for a period of three days, starting on Sunday, corresponding to 11/19/2023.
On the first day of the course, I gave a field lecture inside one of the College of Pharmacy’s laboratories for fifth-year students, in which the assistant lecturer, pharmacist Zainab Azal Mahdi, rapporteur of the Drugs and Toxicology Branch, explained how to deal with laboratory mice and the steps for dosing and testing drugs according to their appropriate weights so that the researcher can make these testing experiments successful. This course is an initiative to prepare pharmaceutical cadres who can conduct scientific experiments and obtain results that will serve the scientific career of college students.
