A teacher at the College of Pharmacy participates in a workshop on the mechanism of publishing research in established international fields

Assistant Professor Dr. Amira Kamal Muhammad, teaching at the College of Pharmacy and Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, participated on Monday morning, 02/26/2024, in a workshop on the mechanism of publishing research in solid international fields at the College of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Kirkuk.

In the workshop, which was attended by a segment of graduate students at the college, Dr. Amira pointed out the most important decisions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in urging researchers and graduate students to the importance of publishing their scientific products within solid scientific journals, including Scopus and Clarvit, and the importance of knowing the requirements for publishing in those journals through a narrative. The most important specifications for publishing solid research through accredited publishing houses with approved impact factors such as Elsvier and Springer. It also showed the most important Iraqi journals included in the international classification and predatory fields and the importance of avoiding publishing in them by displaying links to those journals, as well as addressing avoiding publishing in journals that Do not pass through the specified time frames for international publication for fear of being exposed to scientific plagiarism.
