English About the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit:
The Educational Guidance and Guidance Unit at the college provides periodic assistance to all students at all levels of elementary and higher studies, and for morning and evening studies. As well as teachers and employees, so that it makes them able to overcome psychological, educational, social and other difficulties.

Providing a psychological outlet for university students and employees in order to achieve a high level of psychological stability personally and within the framework of the university meeting, and to create a spirit of psychological, moral and professional balance within the university. Taking into account privacy in the information that students give to the advisor, whether it is personal or confidential information, solving social, behavioral and educational problems in complete confidentiality, and receiving positive suggestions and opinions aimed at serving students.
Tasks of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit:
1- Preparing college students for educational life in accordance with university discipline, armed with education and knowledge to be able to build a good society with awareness and culture by benefiting from guidance services in building development plans that benefit society.
2- Introducing students to university life in its cultural and academic form, commensurate with the level of the students, especially first year students.
3- Achieving the level of social and professional ambition for fourth grade students who are about to graduate.
4 Identifying the most common psychological and behavioral problems experienced by everyone belonging to the university (students, employees, administrators, workers) and providing assistance to them as quickly as possible by subjecting them to counseling interviews based on scientific foundations.
5- Providing appropriate psychological and social conditions for study to help students advance their academic level to the maximum possible degree.
6- Providing students with scientific, psychological and social guidance information that will help them acquire skills in confronting and solving the problems they encounter according to their abilities and potentials.
7- Providing psychological and social advice and advice that seeks to develop students psychologically and socially.
8- Paying attention to studying some negative behaviors and phenomena that may affect students’ academic progress and developing methods of prevention and treatment for these negatives.
9- Follow up on the conditions associated with university employees that cause psychological and behavioral disorders and provide the best suggestions regarding them.
10- Work on psychological education in order to achieve the highest levels of psychological prevention by publishing psychological brochures, posters, and other publications necessary for this.
11 Directing students to some student activities that students tend to do to take advantage of their free time.
