The College of Basic Education organizes a scientific symposium entitled 'Suicide: Social and Religious Causes and Perspectives'

 

The College of Basic Education and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit organized a scientific symposium on the issue of suicide, analyzing the causes and social and religious views associated with it. It was delivered by Dr. Walaa Hashem Muhammad and Dr. Israa Yassin Muhammad in Arabic and English, where it reviewed the intellectual, social, and religious aspects related to the phenomenon of suicide.The symposium addressed many aspects related to suicide, starting with the psychological and social reasons that may push individuals to take this final step and ending with religious and moral perspectives on this phenomenon. The symposium was distinguished by presenting innovative ideas and in-depth analyses that received a large response from attendees, which reflects the importance of awareness and education on this sensitive topic.
