It is one of the new branches of the college. Opened late 2006, in which Pathology and Forensic medicine studied at (third and fourth stages)

Teaching Staff

Main goals of the branch:

By the end of third stage, students should be able to:

1- Understand and realize the pathological changes.

2- Know the different forms of diseases and connect them with histological changes.

3- Search through scientific lectures related to a specific disease.  

This branch just opened one year after the establishment of the college.

Teaching Physiology of organs, which considered as one of the scientific basic sciences of second grade students.

Teaching Staff

Main goals of the branch:

1- Teaching the students how the different cells and organs of human body work.

2- Physiology could be a good basic for them to develop their careers.

3- Knowing the functions of different body systems.

4- Connecting the medical basic sciences belonging to the branch with clinical sciences and orient the students toward this connection in the future.

5- Explaining the ability of human body to keep working effectively, and showing any that happened to body organs functions during diseases as well.

Teaching Medical Chemistry to first grade and biochemistry to second grade students.

Main goals of the branch:

1- Giving good knowledge to the students about the basics of clinical biochemistry.

2- Guiding the students to apply what they learned from theory and practical Biochemistry in different medical fields.

3- Making the students realize the importance of bases of Biochemistry in recognition of different diseases.

4- Preparing the students with expertise and skills to diagnose and analyze the dilemmas of clinical importance.

5- Contribution in setting up good bases for the students to absorb and understand practicing medicine, and the future developments regarding the diagnosis and treatment.
