Under the patronage and presence of the president of the University of Kirkuk, professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, the University of Kirkuk hosted the fourth International Conference on agricultural technologies, organized by the faculties of Agriculture at the Universities of Kirkuk and Anbar. The president of the University of Kirkuk stressed the need to open areas of scientific cooperation between government and educational institutions and apply them to practical reality through scientific research in line with the directions of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, adding that the agricultural conference represents a strategic national platform that enhances the empowerment of citizen farmers and stimulates innovation in the agricultural sector, to support the sustainable food security system. The dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Osama Ibrahim Ahmed, explained that the conference included the acceptance of more than ٣٠٠ research focused on all agricultural issues in Food Science, Plant Protection, Soil Science, Animal Production, horticulture and field crops, which will be published within Scopus. The conference congratulated the presidency of the University of Kirkuk on the success of the conference, which contributes to the development of agricultural crops and the use of new and modern methods in solving agricultural problems and benefiting from applicable scientific research and its exit from closed laboratories and laboratories on its results.
