The College of Science discussed a master's thesis tagged "Characterization of Silver Nanoparticles Prepared by Chemical Reduction Method and Their Antibacterial Efficiency" by Zain Zainal Abbas and supervised by Prof. Dr. Rogha Burhan El-Din Abdul Rahman. Optical, electrical, and anti-bacterial efficacy isolated from burn injuries and urinary tract infections in humans, as well as examining the effect of the surface charge of solid and hollow silver nanoparticles on the inhibition of bacterial growth by measuring the diameter of the inhibition zones for bacteria treated with manufactured silver nanoparticles with different concentrations. The ability to manufacture solid spherical silver nanoparticles by chemical reduction method, and electron microscopy images of solid particles whose sizes range between 23 nm to 33 nm, while hollow particles range in size from 25 nm to 36 nm and the Zeta potential measurements of the formation of stable (non-agglomerated) solid nanoparticles The hollow has surface charges of -33eV and -43eV Li straight.
