Scope: The journal accepts original research papers in history, archaeology, ancient languages, and anthropology.
Originality: Manuscripts must be unpublished and not under review elsewhere. Authors must submit a written declaration of originality and copyright compliance upon submission.
Thesis-Based Submissions:
Papers derived from PhD dissertations or MA theses are acceptable, provided the thesis is unpublished and not accepted for publication.
This must be clearly stated on the title page, in references, and in the attached declaration form.
Languages: Submissions are accepted in Arabic or English.
Formatting Requirements:
Microsoft Word 2010.
A4 size, 14pt font, 1.5-line spacing.
Fonts:
Arabic texts: Simplified Arabic.
English texts: Times New Roman.
Abstract: Include bilingual abstracts (Arabic and English), max 150 words each.
Keywords: Provide at least five keywords relevant to the research topic.
Author Information:
Names in Arabic and English.
Current affiliation, academic rank, email, and phone number.
Peer Review Compliance:
Authors must rigorously address reviewers’ comments.
Revisions must be submitted within 10 days; late submissions may be withdrawn.
Withdrawal Policy: Authors withdrawing after peer review begins must cover evaluation costs.
Return Policy: Submitted manuscripts will not be returned, regardless of acceptance status.
Figures/Tables:
Embed in text, number sequentially, and include captions.
High-resolution files required.
References and citations must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style. The source or reference must appear within the text of the research,for example: (Ali, 2008: 214). Explanatory notes should be presented as footnotes, for example: (1), (2), etc. and must be listed sequentially at the bottom of each page. Both footnotes and the reference list are generated automatically, not manually, and this will be verified by the journal.
Publication Fees:
Base fee: 125,000 IQD.
Extra pages: 4,000 IQD per page beyond 25
International authors (non-Iraqi) are exempt from fees.
