 استنادا الى توجيهات وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي / جامعة كركوك / كلية ( الزراعة ) تخصص البريد الساخن الرسمي (akhotmail@uokirkuk.edu.iq) لحل كافة المشاكل الواردة من التدريسيين والطلبة في تشكيلات الجامعة اثناء اداء الامتحانات النهائية (الكورس الاول) والفصلية لغرض المعالجة وحلها بالسرعة الممكنة وباشراف مباشر من قبل غرفة السيطرة والمتابعة المركزية طول فترة الامتحانات.

About the College :

The College of Agriculture was established in 2005, expressing a response of the necessities for developing Agriculture in Kirkuk. Secondary school graduates are accepted under the central distribution of secondary school graduation through the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. In addition, Agricultural institutes graduates from the top ten or distinguished employees from different provinces departments and candidates are accepted in the college of Agriculture through their ministries.

The duration of the study in the college is four years and the student is not allowed to fail for more than one year, at the end of the courses the student is granted a bachelor degree in Agricultural Sciences, each in the area of ​​specialization, and the Agricultural syndicate grants the title of “Agricultural Engineer” to the graduates of Agriculture faculties.

Vision

Serving the country through modern teaching and Agricultural research by programs which lead to increase the quantitative and qualitative of agricultural production, taking into consideration the protection of the environment and the preservation natural resources.

The message

To graduate students from the college of Agriculture specify to work in the public and private sectors as well as scientific research institutions and universities.

 

The Objectives  

  1. Teaching and understanding the scientific fundamentals regarding to agricultural sciences taught within the curriculum plan and provide the students with outstanding scientific skills and experiences.
  2. Knowledge of the latest scientific methods and latest scientific research results in various Agricultural fields (plant and animal).
  3. Seeking to develop teaching processes and to use latest methods in teaching, training, scientific courses and workshops to increase skills and experiences of the college's staffs.
  4. Preparing advanced undergraduate and postgraduate programs to enable the students to plan and implement various agricultural productivity experiments.
  5. Providing the laboratories with the latest equipment that serve the teaching process and fields with modern mechanization to qualify the students with the experiences that enable them to evaluate the programs and the projects that they are developing and implementing and find appropriate scientific and practical solutions to solve the problems that may face them.
  6. The ability to establish and manage large and small commercial farms according to the local market need and Serve local community by affording consultations, training courses, and workshops along with hosting farmers during the practical periods in order to update their information with the latest achievements in various fields of agriculture sector.
  7. The ability to communicate with farmers and help them to apply the results of latest research besides helping them to solve their problems through using modern technologies and persuade the farmers to apply them in the field.

 

Future College Plans

1- Creation of postgraduate studies / Master / Department of Soil Science and Water Resources.

2- Creation of Basic Sciences Division.
