About the College
The College of Administration and Economics was established on 18/2/2007 to prepare specialized administrative staffs in its departments, Business Administration and Statistics, for a period of four years.
The Faculty of Management and Economics is a scientific and educational institution. The college policy provides all the information that can be provided to the student and subjects. It believes in the need to integrate the applied and scientific studies in order to keep pace with the requirements of the new life and keep abreast of the scientific and technological developments witnessed in our modern world.
The College's management aspires to be distinguished and pioneering in providing its educational services at all local, regional and international levels with a very high quality that matches the corresponding counterparts in developed countries and seeks to be effective and distinguished in supporting the developmental process and solving the administrative and economic problems and obstacles facing the modern society and state .
Achieving advanced levels in the academic and administrative process in the college in order to achieve its strategic objectives so that they are consistent and compatible with the wishes and objectives of individuals and society as well.
Department of Statistics
The Department of Statistics established in 2007 in conjunction with the establishment of the Faculty of Management and Economics at the University of Kirkuk, with the aim of graduating distinguished cadres actively contribute to the use and application of modern statistical methods by granting the department a bachelor degree corresponding to the level of performance of corresponding departments in universities in developed countries
The department seeks to establish the foundations of preliminary and higher studies in the field of statistical sciences and the development of scientific research activities. Graduates of specialized professional staff in statistics are able to meet the needs of the society, contribute to solving the problems facing the organizations, Decision-making by linking theory to practice, strengthening links, cooperation and exchange of experiences with the corresponding education organizations inside and outside Iraq, and disseminating statistical knowledge in the fields of statistics through the organization of conferences, seminars, workshops, M Authoring and translation works and others.
Business Administration Department
The establishment of the Department of Business Administration in the Faculty of Management and Economics / University of Kirkuk coincided with the establishment of the College in 2007, and 41 students were accepted in the department at the beginning of the establishment. The number of students in the Department for the year 2015-2016 has reached 395 students. The morning study and (945) students in the evening study and the section is increasing in the number of students admitted in one year after another year.
The department is granted a bachelor's degree in business administration, which entitles the holder to work in the departments and institutions of the state and the private sector, especially the productive and service departments. The duration of the study in this section is four years. During the course of his studies, the student deals with various administrative sciences, The Department of Business Administration in the College has the ambition after the required quorum is completed for the number of professors who are allowed to teach in post graduate studies of graduate studies in the near future after the necessary and favorable conditions are created.
Based on the importance of the Department of Economics within the departments of the Faculty of Management and Economics and the absence of such a section at the University of Kirkuk, a study was prepared on the opening of this section by the faculty of the Faculty of Management and Economics. In light of which the department was accepted and accepted by the students from the 2015-2016 school year and thirty students in the study Morning in the first year.
