Horticulture and Landscape Design

 Department of Horticulture and Landscape Design were inaugurated on 1/10/2005. It was named the Horticulture Department only. In 2009, it changed its title to the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Design. Its importance is to prepare competent agricultural engineers in their field of specialization and to spread the cultural culture in the community.

The study aims to provide the scientific laboratories equipped with the latest laboratory equipment and field fields and the adoption of research projects as one of the graduation requirements of the students.

 Vision1- Organizing scientific symposia and seminars and participating in scientific conferences and symposia by providing researches and studies inside and outside the country.2. Work on exchange of experiences, visits, study programs and scientific staff of the department within and outside the country whenever possible and carry out joint research with the colleges of agriculture and other research and scientific centers and institutions.3. Developing curricula and curricula and linking theory with scientific application by carrying out research projects for students and teachers in the fields and facilities of the college and introducing the developed sciences and agricultural knowledge in the curricula to raise students' scientific proficiency.4 - Attention to agricultural extension and rural development through its various means to develop agricultural production and the delivery of knowledge and what has been developed from science and mechanization of agriculture to the fields of farmers and farmers to adopt.5- To work as a specialized scientific institution to provide technical and specialized studies and consultations for the various public and private sectors concerned and through the Agricultural Advisory Office.6 - Encouraging the movement of authorship, translation and publication in various fields of agricultural sciences and emphasis on gardening and landscaping.
