The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kirkuk has published the first issue of its scientific publication entitled "Environment and Public Health". The bulletin aims to provide the reader with scientific information that maintains the safety and health of human diseases transmitted through animals, especially ornamental animals raised in homes or by eating meat and animal products in general.

The Supreme Committee supervising the establishment of the International Student Science Conference, was nominated by Dr. Adel Ali Haidar, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine as one of the evaluators of the Second Student Scientific Conference to be held in the Turkish city of Izmir for the period 4-5 May 2018.
