Kirkuk University holds a seminar on the Fulbright program for visiting academics

The Continuing Education Division of the University of Kirkuk, in collaboration with the Networking Department of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology and AMIDEAST, organized a seminar on the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program.

 The seminar included the development of faculty activities, orientation and cultural exchange, as well as the selection of 25 academics from Iraq, hosting them in American institutions for the period from July 30 to September 8, 2020 for a period of (10 weeks), introducing them to new teaching and research methods, classroom observation, and attending seminars, The seminar aimed to build the capacity of higher education in Iraq by developing faculty and mentoring researchers, establishing professional contacts in this field, and fostering long-term cooperation and institutional linkages. Iraqi academics and American academics, as well as promoting mutual understanding between Iraqis and Americans by facilitating academic engagement with the host campus community.folbrait01
