Kirkuk University organizes a scientific symposium on suicide and its social repercussions

The Directorate of Internal Departments of the University of Kirkuk, in cooperation with the High Commission for Human Rights, Kirkuk Branch organized a scientific and guidance seminar on mental health and its relationship to suicide and its social implications.

The symposium discussed the issue of suicide and drugs and its negative effects, and its relationship to suicide directly or indirectly, and how to address them and the role of society and religious motivation in curbing their spread, as well as ways to address them and reduce their risks to society.

The seminar, entitled "Let us work together to reduce the phenomenon of suicide", to discuss the causes of psychological frustration leading to depression, as well as to address the legal articles on penalties for trafficking in narcotics, and to raise the awareness of students in the internal departments on how to face problems, enhance personality, achieve goals and The seminar witnessed the attendance of the director of the internal departments, Assistant Professor Noureddine Ibrahim, Dr. Hashem Hussein, president of the Kirkuk branch of academics, the director of the High Commission for Human Rights, the director of the community police in Kirkuk and a number of lecturers in Kirkuk health circle.druk01
