The Master of Science at the University of Kirkuk discussed the genetic characteristics of some viral genes of Eschercichia coli isolated from urinary tract patients in the city of Kirkuk,

by the student Karwan Aziz Mohammad. The study concluded that isolated isolates from cystitis patients had a greater genetic diversity than those of nephritis patients. The detection of pap, fim, and sfa genes combined in some isolates gave an indication of more than one adhesion factor in the bacterial isolates.
