Prof. Muhsen Omar Mohammed Al-Shawani, a researcher at the Faculty of Science at the University of Kirkuk, prepared compounds that can be used as genetic antibiotics in the diagnosis of tuberculosis.

The study recommended the use of compounds prepared as a vaccine against the disease after some experiments on them, and the preparation of other new derivatives to reach the highest response to the immune system in the body.
