The University of Kirkuk organized a workshop on constructive dialogue and its importance as a tool to promote the peacebuilding process in Iraq and the role of universities in this regard,

with the participation of the assistant rector for administrative affairs,Prof. Dr. Omar Najm al-Din Ange, The workshop included lectures on the mechanisms of constructive dialogue from the religious perspective (Islam and Christianity), commitment to the use of constructive dialogue to be a tool in building Islam, and the definition of constructive dialogue, and efficiency in how to employ them, and its relationship to work productivity, as well as the role of Civil society organizations in promoting a culture of constructive dialogue.The workshop aimed at strengthening the peace process through constructive dialogue and the role of universities by spreading their culture, increasing participants' knowledge about this concept, and finding mechanisms to spread the culture of dialogue, in order to preserve community peace, reject sectarianism and accept the other and join hands to build our dear country.Peace01

- The university is one of the formations of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and History, which symbolizes the foundation year of the university in 2003 AD (1424 AH).
