A Master Thesis in the Faculty of Science at the University of Kirkuk, a scientific study on the incidence of parasitic budding human cystic (Blastocystis hominid) and its relationship with some immunological variables in a number of patients in hospitals in the city of Kirkuk to the student Salam Khaled Matlak.

The study included determining the prevalence of human cystic parasite in a number of patients, measuring the puppet parameters and the level of albumin protein in the serum of the parasite-bearing patients, as well as showing the correlations between the studied variables in the infected. The total percentage of infection was 36.9%, with a close relationship between infection rate and age groups, where the highest percentage was observed among the age groups (30-21) years, and that the parasite has an effect on the blood variables and found an increase in the number of white blood cells Neutrophil and mononuclear cells.The researcher recommended an extensive study on the effect of the parasite on the hormonal level in females, stressing a histological study to know the effect of the parasite on the lining of the intestine.salaam k01
