Published teaching in the Faculty of Law and Political Science University of Kirkuk Ahmed Samir Mohamed Yassin Scientific research on the formal defenses concept, rules and applications in the law of civil proceedings in the Journal of the thesis in the edition / legal studies with a coefficient of international identifier internationally recognized.

The study included a description of the defenses brought by the defendant or his agent to pay the claimant or his agent and their response in part or all, provided that such defenses relate to the formalities of the judicial procedures such as the procedures of judicial notification, the issuance of the petition, and other forms of procedural formal defenses.The study aimed at the concept, rules and applications of defenses in the field of the Iraqi Civil Procedure Law No. (83) for the year 1969, as amended, and to determine the duties and obligations of the defendant generated from those actions taken by him to face his opponent in the civil action.
