A number of researchers at the Faculty of Science at the University of Kirkuk to manufacture and characterize the silver nanoparticles using the extract of leaves and seeds of the plant (Moringa Oliveira) as a reducing agent for silver nitrate.

They were able to synthesize and characterize silver nanoparticles using Moringa Oliveira leaf and seed extract as a reducing agent of silver nitrate. He added that researchers were able to diagnose these particles through the use of UV-Vis and infrared (FT-IR).He pointed out that the results proved the ability of these high nanoparticles as an antibacterial to the types of bacteria positive and negative for the dye Cram isolated from food and clinical samples of various pathological. The researchers recommended the use of silver nanoparticles by biological methods as an eco-friendly technology in the medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural and utilization of plant extracts in nanotechnology applications, to prove its catalytic effectiveness and its high purity and chemical stability. The research was published in the Indian Journal of Public Health Research and Development (IJPHRD).Of the Sharma institute of medico-legalpublications / SCOPUS.indian01
